Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition Rated For Switch By ESRB

The Electronic Software Ratings Board (ESRB) has published a rating for another seemingly unannounced game on Switch.

The rating is for Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition, slated to release on Switch, PC, and other platforms. It is presumably a re-release of Ubisoft’s cult classic action-adventure game on modern platforms. The ESRB has given the game an “E10+” rating for “Animated Blood” and “Fantasy Violence”, describing the game as follows:

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a reporter accompanied by a pig-like companion investigating a conspiracy on the planet of Hillys. From a third-person perspective, players explore fantasy locations, take photos of evidence, solve puzzles, and fight robot and alien enemies. Combat is sometimes fast-paced, with players using melee weapons (e.g., staffs, torches) to strike stylized enemies that generally break apart or vanish into puffs of smoke. One boss battle depicts a squid-like alien stabbed in the eye, with yellow-green splatter effects.

At the time of this writing, this port has yet to be officially announced by Ubisoft. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
