Blaster Master Zero 2 Could Get DLC Guest Characters From Other Games, Says Inti Creates

Recently, Destructoid interviewed Inti Creates producer ‎Takuya Aizu and Localization Director Matt Papa about the release of Blaster Master Zero 2. Of course, the question of guest character DLC cropped up – since it was a neat extra feature in the original Blaster Master Zero.

While both Matt and Aizu-san would not confirm nor deny that any DLC plans were in the works, Destructroid did manage to tease a few possible hints from the two developers. Matt and Aizu-san’s responses to the following characters being guest DLC were as follows:

  • The Knight (Hollow Knight) – “Possible”
  • Trace (Axiom Verge) – Would need to talk to developer Tom Happ
  • Miriam (Bloodstained) – “No comment”
  • Dante (Devil May Cry) – Would need to talk to Capcom

While Dante is certainly a stretch, could any of these other characters be making a cameo? We’ll report back if Inti Creates reveals any surprises in the future!

In the meantime, you can check out the original interview below by Destructoid’s Jonathan Holmes below. Alternatively, you can also read our glowing review of the game over here.
