Lightwood Games is excited to announce details of a new picture puzzle
game. Block-a-Pix Colour is released on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS today, May 17th.
Block-a-Pix is a block-filling puzzle where every grid has a picture hidden inside. The aim is to reveal the picture by dividing the grid into smaller rectangular blocks to create a colourful mosaic.
The puzzle is solved by painting blocks around each clue number. The clue tells you the number of grid squares that are covered by that block, and the colour the block will be painted.
This game is Lightwood’s fourth picture puzzle game to feature puzzles by Conceptis Ltd, the world’s leading supplier of logic puzzles, and it is sure to be a hit with fans of their previous titles.
It follows Pic-a-Pix Colour, a colour nonogram game, Phil’s Epic Fill-a-Pix Adventure, a cross between picross and minesweeper, and Link-a-Pix Colour, a path-linking picture logic puzzle.
Block-a-Pix Colour contains 120 puzzles which, as the name suggests, produce full colour pixel art when solved. The results are cute, detailed pictures which have been carefully hand-crafted and are guaranteed to be uniquely solvable.
Block-a-Pix Colour supports English, French, German and Spanish. It is, of course, spelled “Block- a-Pix Color” in the United States.
