It looks like the paragon of shovelry will be sneaking into more games again.

Recently, 505 Games published a new launch trailer for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night – which showcases all of the game’s value-added features. On top of custom accessories and free DLC content, the game will also apparently feature a playable cameo appearance by Shovel Knight himself!

He’s not as puny as usual, however, and appears to sport a giant spade and hulking armor to compensate!

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night for Switch will be launching on 25 June 2019 in the US. It will launch slightly later for Europe on 28 June 2019.
