Bowser: Nintendo 3DS Will Be Supported In 2020

Today we have more interesting comments from Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser about the Nintendo 3DS.

When Bowser was asked why the Nintendo 3DS is still being supported by the company, he explained there’s still consumer demand, so Nintendo will continue to support the platform:

“We continue to look at the 3DS family, both hardware and games, as a strong entry point for some consumers. And we’re seeing that. As long as consumer demand is there, we’ll continue to provide both hardware and software on the front.”

When asked whether the 3DS is dead, Bowser said “time will tell”:

“We’re certainly not going to say it today. I think time will tell. We will continue to support 3DS this holiday and into 2020.”

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
