Silicon Studio, the developers of the popular Bravely Default game, have announced they are divesting their game development business.
This will be done by establishing a new subsidiary called Creek and River to handle game development. Silicon Studio will transfer 90% of its stock to the new subsidiary.
The company says the rising costs for game development was the reason why they are divesting their game development business, but they hope to create new synergy with Creek and River.
