Bravely Default Developers Celebrate 7th Anniversary With New Artwork

7 years ago, the 3DS RPG Bravely Default made its debut in Japan. Thankfully, it looks like Square Enix hasn’t quite forgotten!

The official Bravely Default Twitter account has released a new piece of artwork to celebrate the series’ 7th anniversary. Namely, it features one of the character Airy popping out to surprise the game’s protagonists. Check it out in full below.

To date, Bravely Default has received one mainline sequel in the form of Bravely Second for 3DS,  which launched in 2015. In addition to this, a mobile game titled Bravely Archive is also available on iOS and Android currently. While things have otherwise been quiet for the series for now, its developers have also teased that something bigger could be in the works behind the scenes.

Did you play Bravely Default and its sequel? Are you hoping for a third entry in the series? Feel free to share your thoughts below!
