Today, NPD has released a couple more details on how the Nintendo Switch performed last month in Canada.
The Nintendo Switch was the bestselling hardware for the month of October in Canada, and remains to be the bestselling console in the country for the entirety of 2017. Switch, 3DS, and SNES Classic Edition systems made up 62% of all video game hardware sold last month.
As for software, Super Mario Odyssey emerged as the best selling video game for the month of October, despite the fact it launched on October 27. Nintendo is also the number one software publisher last month, and remains the top publisher for 2017 with 23% market share.
