Recently, Capcom spoke up about some of their future plans for Nintendo Switch.
After launching Resident Evil 7: Cloud Version, Capcom told Wall Street Journal that more ‘cloud’ versions of their games could be on the way. However, there were no hints on what games would become part of this streaming service in the future.
For the uninitiated, Resident Evil 7: Cloud Version streams the game from Capcom’s Japanese servers to one’s Nintendo Switch. As the game requires an active internet connection, it is basically impossible to play it outside Japan without frequent disruptions.
What do you think about the prospect of more ‘cloud’ versions of games? Do you have concerns that Capcom may not be developing as many proper ports? Or do you think that Capcom is trying their best to get their latest games onto Nintendo Switch?
