During Capcom’s Q&A session for investors on June 11, investors asked the company questions on their Monster Hunter, one of their biggest franchise, as well as the popular Nintendo Switch console.
On the topic whether bringing Monster Hunter World to Nintendo Switch is possible, Capcom responded that it is simply not possible on Nintendo Switch.
However, regarding the future of the franchise on Nintendo Switch, Capcom responded they released Monster Hunter XX on the system in Japan last year, and are making new titles for the system. It seems the titles they were referring to are from the Monster Hunter franchise.
In last year’s issue of Nintendo Dream, Capcom’s Daisuke Ichihara mentioned that Monster Hunter XX is the “first Monster Hunter title” for Nintendo Switch, so it’s a matter of time we will see more Monster Hunter games released for the system.
