Capcom Says Future Monster Hunter Titles Will Not Be Numbered Anymore
Arekkz has asked Capcom UK several questions about Monster Hunter Rise and the future of Monster Hunter, and the company gave some interesting answers to those questions.
First, when asked about Monster Hunter Rise’s frame rate, Capcom said that the game will maintain a frame rate of 30 FPS, and also confirmed that it is powered by RE Engine. Capcom also confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise isn’t open world, but the maps are connected seamlessly with one another.
Capcom is also planning to release free DLC updates after the game’s launch, and there will be a variety of monsters in the game, which is the game’s strong point. Finally, Capcom confirmed that future Monster Hunter titles will not be numbered anymore (for example, Monster Hunter 3 and Monster Hunter 4), in order to make it easier for new players to enter the series.
