Capcom Says They Are “Unable To Implement” Cross Play/Cross Save For Monster Hunter Rise

A few weeks ago, Capcom hosted an online survey about their TGS 2021 showcase, with one question asking players if they were interested in cross-save and cross-play between the Switch and upcoming PC version of Monster Hunter Rise.

Unfortunately, Capcom has since released a statement on Twitter saying that they are “unable to implement” cross-save and cross-play for Monster Hunter Rise and its Sunbreak expansion, despite having heard the requests from fans. At the time of this writing, the developer has yet to elaborate on the reason why it is not possible.
