Capcom has published their fiscal earnings investors briefing for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020.
First, the Chief Financial Officer of Capcom mentioned that, as many employees are working from home or have been furloughed due to the coronavirus, game development has significantly slowed down. Even after the state of emergency is suspended, the CFO expects that it will be some time before employees return to the office and game development is brought back up to speed.
Thus, the CFO is expecting the coronavirus to have an impact on the release dates for “multiple big titles” launching by the end of March 2021. It is unclear what these titles are.
