Niantic and The Pokemon Company have announced the return of the Water Festival to Pokemon GO.

From June 7 1pm PDT to June 21, 2018 1pm, Water-type Pokemon such as Magikarp and Wailmer will appear more frequently in the wild. A rare Shiny Shellder may also be encountered by lucky trainers.

Earn triple the amount of Stardust when you catch Water-type Pokemon as well as double candy and Stardust for every egg hatched. 2km eggs may have a chance of hatching exciting Pokemon such as Totodile, Mudkip, and Corphish.

During the Water Festival, Legendary Pokemon Kyogre will make a return to Raid Battles, and you may encounter Kyogre’s Shiny form if you defeat it in a Raid Battle.
