Dragon Quest XI S, Square Enix’s definitive edition of Dragon Quest XI, has received more details and screenies showcasing the game’s 2D mode and some additional features.
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of An Elusive Age for the Nintendo Switch will be getting some exclusive features not present on the vanilla version. These new features include the new voiced lines during cutscenes and battle, orchestrated soundtrack, and the additional stories. The party members will now also follow the Hero when moving. All are quite a nice touch, actually.

This time around, your party members will follow you when moving out on the field.
