Earlier this month, The Pokemon Company announced that Pikachu would collaborate in a new music video with Kazuhito Kosaka AKA Pikotaro – the Japanese comedian famous for the Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen song. Well, now you can finally take a look at the bizarre duet for yourself!

The official Pikotaro YouTube channel has released the music video, which you can check out below. Titled “PIKA to PIKO” – it features Pikotaro himself attempting to translate all of Pikachu’s various cries into actual English…with mixed results.

There are obviously gaps in the conversation between Pikachu and PIKOTARO, but you’ll definitely see them having a good time interacting with each other!
