Over the years, Pokemon fans have been responsible for many pieces of fan-art and parodies that ape the real deal – some of which could easily be mistaken for official products as well. Well, here’s one humorous example that recently blew up online.
@okihasA, a modeler who specializes in Pokemon-themed art, recently shared a hilarious new set of models that depict several Pokemon getting clobbered with Poke Balls by accident. The set is intended look like a series of toys that one obtains at random from a Japanese gashapon machine, with the featured Pokemon being Rowlet, Jigglypuff, Magnemite, Spheal, and Ditto (who is a “rare” toy).
As you can see above, the post has garnered a lot of love from the internet, with over 300 thousand likes and 18 million views on Twitter so far. Here’s a closer look at some of the models below:
