Here’s a really weird and strange piece of news coming from a place that you would least expect – China.
Shanghai Mobile TV, which provides news and TV programs on buses and underground train stations in China, has reported that Nintendo is releasing The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on Nintendo Switch. A resident living in China spotted the news segment airing on a bus.
No one knows where or how Shanghai Mobile TV got this information, but we speculate they could have misinterpreted a certain piece of news. When Nintendo of America started asking journalists for permission to quote their reviews for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, some news outlets assumed it’d be for a Switch port of A Link Between Worlds. Turns out that the quotes were meant for A Link Between World’s Nintendo Selects budget release on 3DS.
