The official CoroCoro magazine in Japan has confirmed that a huge Splatoon 2 announcement will be made on June 9, 2018.
According to the magazine, Splatoon 2’s “biggest mystery” will be made known to the world on June 9. The only clue we have to this “biggest mystery” is an emblem we’ve never seen before, as shown in the magazine scan below. It’s said that the emblem has something to do with a “top secret Splatoon 2 project”.
The big announcement will be made on the official CoroCoro News Twitter account as well as CoroCoro’s official website. Chances are this secret project has something to do with the ongoing Splatoon comic by CoroCoro themselves.
This comes just one day after Nintendo rebuked rumors about the June 9 Splatoon announcement, which were attributed to the wrong Japanese magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump.
