Today, Daemon X Machina was released in Japan and it turned out to be a bigger hit than anyone expected.
As of September 13, 2019, two of the most prominent electronic chains in Japan, Yodobashi Camera and Bic Camera, have ran out of copies of Daemon X Machina. At Bic Camera, Daemon X Machina is no longer available at 80% of its locations. The game is close to running out at around 10% of its locations, while the game is still in stock at the remaining 10%.
Meanwhile at Yodobashi Camera, every single location has ran out of copies, and they have even stopped accepting back-orders for the game.
Of course, it’s important to keep in mind the game is still available online at sites like Amazon Japan, though we expect shortages to hit online merchants in the next couple of days.
