Following its most recent update, dataminers have discovered a list of upcoming Sync Pairs and Events that are heading for Pokemon Masters.
This latest batch of info reveals that a number of fan favorite trainers are expected to arrive in the game including Silver from Pokemon Gold & Silver as well as Wally from Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire. Notably, Silver’s Sync Pair partner is listed as Ho-Oh, suggesting that he will be the free character acquired during that event.

Next, the datamine revealed several upcoming events for the game, including the Ho-Oh Legendary event which is scheduled to launch on 30 April. Other notable events include an update that adds more floors to the Battle Tower. This list of notable events can be found below:
