Last week, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise was launched on Switch, with many players experiencing some disappointing technical troubles during play.
In a statement on Twitter, the game’s publisher Rising Star games said they are currently “working on” these technical problems, which include rather poor framerates for a big name title. The post also states that patches and updates will be coming soon.
In addition, the game’s director Hidetaka ‘Swery’ Suehiro also mentioned in a recent livestream that he would be talking to the producers to try to get something done about the framerates now that the game is released.
“There will not be a patch released in time for the release date […] but Swery’s going to take everyone’s opinions and points into account, and he’s going to fight with the producer to try to get something done at some point after the game’s release,”
