It looks like China’s Pokemon fans won’t have to wait any longer than their western brethen for the Detective Pikachu film!
A new Chinese-language poster for the movie has gone public – revealing that it will premiere sometime around 10 May 2019. This will be one week after the movie premieres in Japan, but the same premiere date as US and UK theaters.
The poster itself is pretty non-descript, but highlights several of the film’s realistic-looking Pokemon designs. Classics such as Jigglypuff and Psyduck are present, along with some odd choices like Aipom and Snubble. Check it out in higher resolution below.
