Bandai Namco has announced a major DLC for Digimon Story: Time Stranger.
The DLC was announced during the Digimon Con 2026 presentation, and will be larger in scope compared to the previously released DLC packs. It is planned to release in 2027, presumably for all platforms.
While not much is known about the DLC, the presentation hosts were able to confirm they will working together with the voice actress for Aegiomon for the DLC, presumably confirming that he will be featured in its story. The DLC will also incorporate feedback from a fan-vote asking “Which Digimon would you like to train or hope to see play an active role in future Digimon games?”, where players voted from 35 potential Digimon chosen by the developers.
The Top 10 were as follows:
- Gammamon
- Loogamon
- Kazemon
- Gumdramon
- Pulsemon
- Herissmon
- Terriermon Assistant
- Meicoomon
- Ludomon
- Gekkomon
Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
The base Digimon Story: Time Stranger game will release on July 9th 2026 for Switch and Switch 2.
