Bandai Namco has announced a free update coming to Digimon Story: Time Stranger on its Switch/Switch 2 launch day.

On July 9th/July 10th 2026, a free update will be made available for the game on all platforms, adding the following:

• Terriermon Assistant as a playable character
• Photo Mode during field exploration
• Screen to check Digivolution conditions in the Digifarm
• Graphics Mode selection option

Terriermon Assistant will finally be playable!
Its Special Move, “Dai-Badgy-Gu”, has a 100% chance of 60% reduction to random stat for 1 turn!
