Japanese video game magazine leaker Ryokutya2089 has revealed that Digimon Survive is heading to Nintendo Switch in Japan in early 2019.
According to the leaker, Digimon Survive is a SRPG that fuses together 2D and 3D graphics in a magical world. 2D images are included in Digimon Survive’s dialogues, with options available to change the way the story or battle goes.
Digimon Survive will also feature point and click field research and grid style strategic battles, where energy is consumed to move across the battlefield. The protagonist of the game is a 8th grade student called Takuya who has somehow went astray into this mysterious world. Takuya is accompanied by a Digimon called Agumon.
