We already knew from last year that Doom Eternal would be receiving DLC post-launch, but we now know a little bit more about Bethesda’s plans from a little tidbit we missed about the game’s collector’s edition.
Included within the game’s collector’s edition, is a “Doom Eternal Year One Pass” that grants access to “two single-player campaign expansions”. Notably the phrase “Expansion” implies something a little more beefy than a simple “DLC”, which has some fans quite hopeful that they will be substantial add-ons to the base game.
Unfortunately, no other details are known about the expansions apart from them being scheduled for release within one year after the game’s launch. We will keep an eye out for more information as it comes.
