Here is some news everyone feared may come, Nintendo UK has listed on their store that an additional 23GB of storage is required for you to play the Doom for the Nintendo Switch, even if you have purchased the physical copy of the game.
On Nintendo UK’s Doom listing:
“To use this software, a download of 23GB via a wireless internet connection is required. An additional microSD card may also be required.”
At 23GB, players should really consider getting a large microSD card as the paltry 32GB of internet storage will be almost as good as gone after the download. If it is any consolation, at least you get a free t-shirt when you purchase Doom from Nintendo UK’s online store. You can visit Nintendo UK’s lisiting here.
