UPDATE: A temporary solution has been found. Reboot your Nintendo Switch and the problems should disappear.
Bethesda’s long awaited audio patch for DOOM has finally arrived on Nintendo Switch. However, it seems that the patch has caused more problems.
According to our German correspondent Winkelgucker as well as a few other players, after the patch was installed users were unable to navigate on the menu (file load and options screen) or change/boost their weapons during gameplay. This also means players are unable to create, load another save file, or save their game due to the bug.
We’ve reached out to Bethesda on this issue, so hopefully a fix will be in as soon as possible.
