Bandai Namco Entertainment has made an important announcement about Doraemon Nobita’s Story of Seasons, the first Doraemon and Story of Seasons crossover coming to Nintendo Switch this June.

The company has revealed that Doraemon Nobita’s Story of Seasons will lack the marriage and romance systems that make Story of Seasons a popular game. The reason behind their exclusion in the crossover is because Doraemon Nobita’s Story of Seasons is a “lifestyle” game and by including marriage and romance systems in it, Bandai Namco felt it would “ruin the enjoy-ability” of the game.
