Doug Bowser On How The Nintendo Direct E3 2019 Bowser Scene Was Filmed

During the Nintendo Direct E3 2019 presentation, fans were surprised by a funny skit that was held between Doug Bowser and Bowser where they joked about them having the same surname.

Well it seems that we know how that memorable scene was filmed for the presentation as during the Nintendo Power podcast Doug Bowser talked about the funny process that took place behind the scenes.

It was very funny. There’s like an internal story while filming that, obviously we did not have the Bowser model in the room; we had someone in a blue suit with a big stick coming out from the top of his head and a piece of tape really held high, which was supposed to be Bowser’s eyes.

As I interacted with that particular person, I was supposed to look him in the eye. I can not tell you how many shots we had to take, because I kept looking at the actor’s real eyes instead of looking into Bowser’s eyes. Basically I was talking to Bowser’s chest [Laughter].
