Nintendo has published an interview with Dr. Kawashima, the doctor who was involved with creating the tests for Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training for Nintendo Switch.
In the interview, Dr. Kawashima was asked whether he’s a gamer. He revealed he’s a “very active” Nintendo Switch gamer and has mastered all the shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and is starting to get involved in Splatoon 2.
Recently, Dr. Kawashima has also completed The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, which took him about 2 to 3 weeks to beat. The doctor was also asked whether he’s been gaming for a long time. Dr. Kawashima told the interviewers that he has always been interested in games since the days of Space Invader, but he was a very “impoverished student” back in the day.
After he became a doctor, he purchased a Famicom to play games like Mario and Dragon Quest. The rest is history.
