Dr. Mario World Shutting Down Later This Year

Nintendo has announced they will be shutting down Dr. Mario World mobile game.

As announced on Twitter and the game’s official website, Dr. Mario World will be shutting down on October 31st 2021 (November 1st 2021 in some regions). In preparation for the shutdown, players will also not be able to purchase any of the game’s premium currency after July 28th/29th.

After the shutdown date, players will no longer be able to play the game using the app. However, Nintendo plans to open a “Dr Mario World Memories” web-page that allows players to see their past player history.

If you start up the Dr. Mario World game after the game’s service has ended, an end-of-service notification will be displayed and you will not be able to play the game.
You will be able to look back at your player history in Dr. Mario World Memories, which is a web page that will become available after the game’s service ends.

To enable the provision of the Dr. Mario World Memories Service, a portion of your player history will be saved on the server so it can be referenced in Dr. Mario World Memories.
If you would like to delete your player history, please go to Delete Save Data in the app and delete your save data.
