If you haven’t kept up with Dr. Mario World, the mobile title has been introducing many never-before-seen ‘Doctor’ variants of various Mario characters such as Dr. Waluigi and Dr. Baby Peach. The game’s next doctor character, however, is probably set to be one of the most bizarre of them all!

The official Dr. Mario World account has revealed that Dr. Goomba Tower will join the game as part of an upcoming April 26 update. As you can see below, the character is quite literally three goombas attempting to play doctor!

Of course, many fans reacted with a mix of surprise and amusement. Some felt the concept was so absurd it became good, while others just appreciated something more creative than a plain ‘Dr. Goomba’.
