According to latest data from ASCII Media Works, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has sold over 80,000 copies on the Nintendo Switch. This figure comes even as the game was released more than a year ago on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
This more or less showed that gamers are still willing to purchase games that are ported to the Switch despite having already been on other platforms for quite a bit of time. What’s more, the fighting game suits the Switch’s multiplayer focus quite well, making the Switch an excellent platform for the game.
Hopefully, developers can take the strong sales of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 despite its niche backdrop and find success on the Nintendo Switch, bringing more variety of games onto the Nintendo Switch
