Square Enix has released a free demo for Dragon Quest Treasures on Switch.

The demo will allow players to go through a portion of the game from the beginning, with save data carrying over to the full version. Players who do so will also receive 5x Better Buddy Bullets, which are items that help recruit wild monsters to join your cause.
