As you all know, Nintendo Switch users have been reporting about unexpected crashes when they play the Dragon Quest XI S demo in the Helidor region.

Dragon Quest XI S producer Hokuto Okamoto gave an update on the situation in a recent NicoNico broadcast. Though there have been many theories to what could have caused the crashes, Okamoto said Square Enix still hasn’t figured out the root cause and is sending error logs to Nintendo so they could quickly figure it out.

Okamoto also implied that the same unexpected crashes happen in the full version of Dragon Quest XI S. Thus, once a solution has been found, Square Enix will release a patch fixing the crashes for both the full version and the demo.
