Dragon Trainer Ryuki Will Debut In The Pokemon Anime Next Week

In the 118th episode of the Pokemon Sun & Moon Anime next week in Japan, a new character from the games will be making his debut.

The new character is Ryuki, a superstar rock guitarist who is also a dragon-type specialist. In the original Sun & Moon games he was one of the challengers in title defense, and the only one the player never encountered before the post-game.

In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon however, Ryuki does make a brief appearance at the Kantonian Gym in Malie City, both before and after the player beats the Alola league for the first time. This appearance seems to be what his debut episode in the anime is based on, and he will be facing off against Ash in a Pokemon battle using Druddigon and Zweilous.
