Ducktales: Remastered Returns To Digital Storefronts, Including The Wii U eShop
Last year, we reported on the unfortunate removal of the popular Ducktales: Remastered from pretty much every digital storefront out there. Well, we finally have great news for fans of the game!
The title has inexplicably become available from digital storefronts once again – allowing folks to purchase the game once more. This includes the version of the game from the Wii U eShop, which is the game’s sole presence on Nintendo consoles so far.
For those out of the loop, Ducktales: Remastered is a modern remake of the original Ducktales game from 1989 – with a HD splash of paint thanks to WayForward. It sees players platforming as Scrooge McDuck himself through African mines, The Amazon, The Himalayas, Transylvania, and (yes) even the Moon.
All in all, it’s just good to see the beloved classic available on most modern platforms like Steam again. As for whether the game will ever hit Nintendo Switch some day…well, that’s up to publisher Capcom.
