eastasiasoft, Playasia’s publishing arm, just dropped hints for its future plans on Nintendo Switch.
On Playasia’s Discord, the company mentioned that they “have a metroidvania coming to ps4/switch”. However, they did not give any further details, or mention if this mystery game would get a physical release.
This breaks the the company’s current trend of publishing mostly shoot-em-up games (like Dimension Drive) for the Switch.
While we can only wait in anticipation for the company to make an official announcement, it’s seems like metroidvania games have found solid support on Nintendo Switch. Let’s hope eastasiasoft has a huge hit on its hands.
