Famitsu: Mother 2 Voted The Most Popular Game In The Mother Series

In celebration of the Mother series’ 30th Anniversary, Japanese Magazine Famitsu held a special poll asking its readers about their favorite games in the series, as well as the order in which they played them.

In total, 2,528 readers answered the poll with 1,314 of them being Japanese, and the other 1,176 being from overseas. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Mother 2/Earthbound  was voted the most popular game in the series with 1,361 people choosing it as their favorite. Furthermore, it was also the first game in the series most of the readers played out of the three.
