Fan Creates Functioning Fighting Stick Controller For Virtual Boy
Now, Street fighter fans can play a classic in horrendous red-3D.
Benj Edwards, one of the many fans of Nintendo’s failed Virtual Boy console, has created a custom fighting stick for the system. According to Edwards, the BX-240 mainly works with Hyper Fighting – an unofficial Virtual Boy port of Street Fighter II.
Check out some pictures of the design below.
Today I am announcing the BX-240, possibly the world’s first Virtual Boy fighting stick.
It’s designed for use with the unofficial Street Fighter II port called Hyper Fighting. Custom PCB inside — DM me know if you want one#bxfoundry pic.twitter.com/PA148IbMfu

We’re not sure how many other gaming fans would want to own such a niche piece of hardware. Nevertheless, Edwards’ efforts to revive the forgotten 3D console are pretty amazing, and we can’t wait to see what he creates in the future!
