Level-5 has confirmed that Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will also be coming to Switch 2.

As with many games making the jump to the new console, the “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition” of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will feature higher resolutions and frame rates compared to the Switch version. Players who already own the Switch version of the game will be able to upgrade to the Switch 2 version for 300 yen in Japan.

The Switch 1 version of the game is due to release on May 21st 2025, and we can probably assume that the Switch 2 version will launch sometime after new console releases on June 5th 2025. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
