Square Enix has released a free demo for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on Switch 2.

The demo is now available to download via the Switch 2 eshop, and will allow players to experience the first 2 chapters of the game on the hybrid console. Save data will carry over to the full version when it launches on June 3rd 2026, as well as reward players with an in-game “kupo charm” and “survival set” as bonuses.
