Following the DLC Expansion Pack announcement, Nintendo has released another round of details about Fire Emblem Engage on social media.
The majority of this info was only made available in Japanese, and includes more details about the player’s home base of Somniel, the game’s amiibo functionality, as well as various costumes the main character and their allies can wear. There was also another round of new character introductions as well as Emblems, the returning heroes from past Fire Emblem games.
You can check out a compilation of info below, via Perfectly-Nintendo:
Somniel
A floating island located in the Holy Land of Lythos which serves as the player’s base of operation. At the entrance, there are a variety of shop that sells weapons, tools, and more. Available items will be limited at the start of the game, with more unlocked through story progress:
- Weapon Shop: there, you can buy weapons for your Units to use in battle. You can also sell those you don’t need anymore.
- Tool Shop: there, you can purchase medicine (vulneraries, etc.), staves, and other tools.
- Boutique: there, you can purchase Outfits and Accessories for your Units to wear when in Somniel. Once you’ve purchase an accessory, pretty much all characters can wear it (with the exception of some special accessories).
