It looks like Fire Emblem fans are in for a long haul with Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
The game’s director, Toshiyuki Kusakihara, recently spoke with JeuxVideo about the game’s length. In particular, he remarked that it took himself around 80 hours just to complete the story of one house (out of three) in the game. By extension, this means that players wanting to experience all three paths can spend more than 200 hours altogether!
Here’s a rough translation:
To complete the game with just one of the three houses, it took me 80 hours. I did not skip any vocals or cutscenes, of course. So if you want to do all three paths, it can take you more than 200 hours.
With even one path alone lasting around 80 hours, Fire Emblem: Three Houses is definitely shaping up to be a treat for strategy fans. We’ll report back when we hear more about the game – which launches worldwide on 26 July 2019.
You can pre-order your copy of the game now, if you haven’t already done so.
