Fire Emblem: Three Houses continues to blow past its predecessors in terms of sales, this time in the United States.
As reported by industry tracking firm NPD Group, Fire Emblem: Three Houses was the second best-selling game in the US during its launch month of July 2019. Furthermore, its launch sales were three times that of Fire Emblem: Shadows Of Valentia during its own release month. Notably, this does not include digital sales, as Nintendo typically keeps that data tightly under wraps.
Nevertheless, the figures available to NPD Group show that Fire Emblem: Three Houses is now the 2nd Best Selling Fire Emblem game of all time in the US, beat only by Fire Emblem Awakening. This is an astonishing achievement considering the game has only been out for a few weeks, and its likely only a matter of time before Three Houses‘ performance surpasses Awakening‘s as well.
