A few months ago, we reported that the Super Mario Bros. Movie Archive had discovered a long lost tape containing cut footage from the Super Mario Bros. Movie.
Today, the fansite has shared the first deleted scene recovered from the tape. The scene is a short clip of the Mario brothers driving to a job at the Riverfront Cafe, where they encounter the rival Scapelli plumbers. The tape contains at least 15 minutes of cut footage from the movie, so we can probably expect more clips to be shared soon.
