The Pokemon Company has announced the first online competition for Pokemon Champions.
The competition will be titled Global Challenge 2026 I, and will run with Regulation M-A rules. More details about the ruleset will be shared at a later date, but registration for the competition will run from April 23rd until May 4th, while the competition itself will run from May 1st through May 4th. Participants will receive a Venusaur to use Pokemon Champions, and the Top Players in Japan will gain entry into the PJCS2026 qualifier ahead of the Pokemon World Championships.
The Switch version of Pokemon Champions was announced to release in April 2026 and this new information implies that it will launch sometime before April 23rd. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
