For the past few weeks, numerous leaks relating to the Switch’s successor have been circulating online, with Nintendo rumored to be revealing the console officially either today or tomorrow.
Amidst the chaos, one wonder how the staff at Nintendo might be feeling about all this. In the most recent episode of their podcast, former Nintendo employees Krysta Yang and Kit Ellis shared their thoughts about what might be going on at Nintendo. Needless to say, both feel that Nintendo is probably “very very very upset” about the leaks, and are most likely working on how to address them.
Krysta Yang: “I am 100% sure that they are really mad, to the most severe level. We joke around about the hot exclamation mark emails. They are hot hot hot. How many exclamation marks could be at the end of this? They are very, very, very upset by this. It’s a highly chaotic situation in there right now and a real pressure cooker.”
Kit Ellis: “They do have very good people who investigate these things. They will eventually get to the bottom of it.”
